Now hiring for 2025-2026

We are officially opening applications for our staff positions for the 2025-2026 school year! This is a great opportunity to get involved on campus and gain some leadership experience, no matter what year you are. Each position is necessary to make our book publishing run as smoothly as possible. With this being said, each job is uniquely different, each application listed below has a small description of the job, but feel free to reach out with any questions! 

All applications are due: Wednesday, April 9th at midnight.

Executive Board Positions

Editor-In-Chief

President of the organization.

Manages the team. Sets meetings and answers emails.

Assistant Editor

Helps the Editor-In-Chief. Sends acceptance and rejection emails.

Graphic Designer

Designs and puts together “The Lighter”.

Assistant Graphic Designer

Assists the Graphic Designer. Updates the website.

Social Media Manager

Creates content for our social media accounts and designs flyers for advertisement.

Website Manager

Manages the website ands makes changes when necessary.

Roundtable Lead

Leads discussions at Roundtables on a weekly basis the first half of the semester.

Roundtables

Meetings take place in the Alumni Room in the Harre Union on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Join our group discussions and take a vote on what belongs in The Lighter! Roundtables are open to all students and are VUE approved.
